But really, why wait for large celebrations or family gatherings? We like to think that you’ll use our Catene plates in your daily life as well, to make your everyday table more beautiful and inviting.
Catene is a collection of tableware, tea, coffee, and home decor items that tells a piece of our history. The iconic interlacing pattern that unites all its pieces stems from one of the countless designs we inherited from the great Gio Ponti, our artistic director in the early 1900s. A design that is both solemn and bold, with an eternally contemporary aesthetic, which we have used to embellish all the plates, cups, vases, and other porcelain pieces featuring the iconic Empire shape.
