Minimalist and elegant, adorned with a gleaming pure gold finish, they’ll add a touch of beauty to your table on the most formal occasions—perhaps paired with our dinner plates. But really, why wait for large celebrations or family gatherings? We like to think that you’ll use our Catene plates in your everyday life, too, to make your daily table setting more beautiful and inviting.

Catene is a collection of tableware, tea, coffee, and home furnishings that tells a piece of our history. The iconic interlacing pattern that unites all its pieces stems from one of the countless designs we inherited from the great Gio Ponti, our artistic director in the early 1900s. A design that is both solemn and bold, with an eternally contemporary flair, which we have used to embellish all the plates, cups, vases, and other porcelain pieces featuring the iconic Empire shape.
