17 cm Bread Plate – Oriente Italiano Citrino – Richard Ginori / Ginori1735

Citrine-colored bread plate, made of Ginori 1735 porcelain from the “Collezione Oriente Italiano” collection.

A complete set includes plates for every course, from appetizers to desserts and fruit. Our delicate plates take center stage to round out a lunch or dinner, leaving nothing to chance. But we like to think that even outside of special occasions, you’ll want to use them to treat yourself to a harmonious start to the day—perhaps by serving cookies at the table, accompanied by a glass of fruit juice.

The Collezione Oriente Italiano features a wide selection of tableware, tea, coffee, and home decor. It is the result of our boundless passion for creative exploration, through which we reinterpret our time-honored artisanal expertise to create new styles with a timeless appeal. Experimentation—that’s what it’s all about. An approach that has led us to seek out color tones capable of enhancing the forms of the iconic Antico Doccia, renewing it while at the same time honoring an intimate connection to Italian tradition. For this reason, we have embellished every piece of porcelain in the collection with the historic “garofano” (carnation) motif of Faenza ceramics, reinterpreting it in our own style.
