Description
The pattern, which realistically depicts colorful and lively birds and insects, exudes happiness and harmony, evoking the atmosphere of a forest filled with the sound of birdsong. It takes its name from the Rothschild family and has been their favorite pattern on Herend tableware since 1860. The elegant gold chain painted around the tree branches is a reference to the wealth of the banking family. The Rothschild Oiseaux (bird) is one of the most famous of Herend’s classic motifs, and it is no coincidence that it continues to enjoy unbroken popularity around the world. Our designers and master painters have also drawn inspiration from this motif, and thanks to our product development efforts, many new variations are constantly being created.
