Herend Apponyi Green: The Timeless Elegance of Hungarian Porcelain
The Apponyi Verde collection (also known as Chinese Bouquet Green) is one of the most famous and beloved patterns from the Herend manufactory.
Inspired by a reinterpretation of the classic “Fiori delle Indie” motif, this design was created specifically for Count Albert Apponyi and is distinguished by its perfect balance between aristocratic simplicity and ornate richness.
Each piece is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, entirely hand painted by Herend’s master painters on the finest white porcelain.
Features of the Decoration
The central motif features a stylized green peony, surrounded by a delicate wreath of leaves and small scattered flowers. The border is finished with an elegant 24-karat pure gold Greca pattern, which adds luster and elegance to the table.
