I feel I’ll never forget this moment—or the glass from which I’m drinking, filled with countless irresistible little bubbles.” The Memento brand embodies many meanings. It represents a company that conducts thorough color research to offer unique shades and color combinations. It guarantees that the products are handcrafted: that’s why no two are ever exactly alike. It signifies a production process attended to down to the smallest detail: the glass paste coloring, the air bubble inside the glass that must remain small and spherical, and many other details that make Memento a collection of inimitable products. Memento is a guarantee of an original product with unique characteristics: HANDMADE Memento products are made through artisanal processing and blowing COLORED IN GLASS PASTE Each piece is colored at the origin in glass paste, a guarantee of maintaining the original intensity of the color UNMISTAKABLE BUBBLES The distinctive feature of Memento are its bubbles, produced by the special processing on a lathe and present in large quantities inside the glass RECYCLABLE Memento Originale products are made of recyclable glass, thus encouraging separate collection and respect for the environment DISHWASHER SAFE MEMENTO products are dishwasher safe Memento Originale products are the result of an artisanal manufacturing and blowing process, guarantee of a series of unique characteristics, starting from the physicality of the glass itself and the characteristic bubbles. The craftsmanship of Memento products means that each individual glass can vary in tone and intensity of color, base shape, parison shape, stem shape, density of the bubbles, thickness of the base, thickness of the body, height, width, regularity of the internal and external surfaces. Imperfections that make Memento a unique product, each object will never be the same as any other. Memento is the brand that has radically changed the conception and role of glassware, which evolves into a real means of expression and personal identification, with an exclusive and inimitable color palette. It was Memento that first introduced the idea of a multicolored set of glasses 15 years ago—a concept that was revolutionary at the time and has since become commonplace. It is a concept that continues to make Memento synonymous with—and a symbol of—an innovative approach to the world of “home design” through research and creative thinking. Memento products are the result of a traditional handcrafted blowing process, which provides a range of unique characteristics, starting with the texture of the glass itself and its distinctive bubbles. One example is the special glass-paste coloring applied during the initial production process, which ensures the products are dishwasher-safe and that the original color intensity is preserved. Constant research in the field of glass coloring has allowed us to create an exclusive, inimitable and very personal palette. TO BE YOURSELF YOU MUST BE ME

Additional specifications from the company:

Memento glass products are, in fact, handcrafted from colored glass paste using traditional glassblowing techniques. The color is not applied to the surface; it is not a paint finish nor an external coating, but is part of the glass’s body. For this reason, variations in color intensity—especially around the base and on the lower part of the glass—are due to the natural distribution of the glass paste during the manufacturing process. Several factors come into play: from the thickness of the glass to the concentration of microbubbles, the density of the material, the shape it takes on during the blowing process, and even the way light passes through the glass.

Another distinctive feature of this craft involves the use of soda in the glass batch and in the creation of the microbubble effect. During the artisanal manufacturing process, the presence and distribution of the Bollicine are never perfectly uniform: in the initial stage of production, the effect may be more intense and concentrated, while in the final part of the glass mass it may be less pronounced or distributed differently. This variation occurs within the glass mass itself and contributes to the subtle shades and optical effects visible on the glass.

In certain colors—particularly warmer ones, such as Red, for example—these variations may be more noticeable due to the color’s bright and partially translucent nature.

In lighter-colored or outwardly whiter glasses, the different shade does not indicate a lack of color, but rather a different concentration of the liquid and Bollicine inside the glass.

This characteristic is consistent with the product’s artisanal craftsmanship: every Memento glass is unique, with its own distinct shades, intensity, and small optical effects. It is precisely this that distinguishes a hand-blown blown glass from a perfectly uniform industrial product.
