Ginori 1735 Catene Smeraldo – The Geometric Elegance of Italian Design

The Catene Smeraldo plates by Ginori 1735 (the historic Richard Ginori manufactory) represent the perfect synthesis of geometric precision, historical heritage, and high-end modernity. Originally designed by master designer Gio Ponti in 1926, the Catene collection stands out for its famous chain motif, an iconic graphic detail that frames the purest porcelain with timeless elegance.

In the Smeraldo version, the contrast between the pure white of the porcelain and the vibrant emerald green hue—enhanced by gold accents—transforms every table setting into a work of contemporary art. The collection features the renowned Impero shape, characterized by cylindrical lines that are simple and exude absolute classical elegance.
